OUR MISSION

Helping the blind see by bringing the life-changing gift of sight to under-served peoples of the world

Global Eye Mission (GEM) is an international mission organization that develops clinical and surgical eye services in under-served regions of the world.  As an organization, GEM is inspired by the teachings of Jesus to serve those in need.  Through local and international partnerships we help bring sight to the blind by facilitating the development of long-term high-quality eye care for the poor. 

INDONESIA

The goal of this long-term project is to develop a self-sustaining medical and surgical eye unit at Bethesda Mission Hospital in West Kalimantan to serve the poor of the region.

The eye service at Tenwek continues to expand its capabilities in serving the eye care needs of the poor in Western Kenya and has served the people of Kenya for over 50 years.
